DS02: Grandmother (Overdrive)
Distressed Signals 02: Grandmother (OD) offers multi-sample instruments of the oscillator waveforms from a Moog Grandmother recorded via the germanium and op-amp circuits of a Valco KGB Dist pedal for Ableton Live and more. Individual samples are also included to use with your favorite sampler.
Experience the Grandmother’s triangle, sawtooth, square, and narrow pulse waveforms slightly, each saturated for added character but without compromising their distinctive quality.
Unlike many other sample packs, this one provides 10-second recordings at full-amplitude and full-frequency of notes C and G from C1 to C5, allowing you to sculpt the sounds in your sampler as if you were operating a synthesizer. Load these recordings onto any sampler and shape them with your own filters, envelopes, LFOs, and other parameters.
